Medicare comes with a lot of choices—and understanding how those choices fit your life isn't always easy.
As an independent Medicare broker, I work with multiple insurance carriers and help you understand and compare the Medicare options available to you.
Together, we'll consider your healthcare needs, doctors, prescriptions, preferences, and budget so you can make an informed decision with confidence.
Medicare Basics: A, B, C, D
Medicare can feel like an alphabet soup. Here's a simple way to understand the different parts:
Part A — Hospital Insurance
Helps cover inpatient hospital care, skilled nursing facility care, hospice care, and certain home health care services.
Part B — Medical Insurance
Helps cover doctor and other healthcare provider services, outpatient care, preventive services,
durable medical equipment, and certain home health care.
Part C — Medicare Advantage
An alternative way to receive your Medicare benefits through a Medicare-approved private insurance company.
Medicare Advantage plans include your Part A and Part B benefits, and most include Part D prescription drug coverage. Plans may offer additional benefits.
Part D — Prescription Drug Coverage
Helps cover the cost of prescription medications.
If you have Original Medicare, you can obtain a separate Part D plan. Most Medicare Advantage plans include prescription drug coverage.
What Is a Medicare Supplement?
A Medicare Supplement, also called Medigap, is private insurance that works with Original Medicare to help pay some of the out-of-pocket costs Medicare doesn't cover, such as certain deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance.
How I Can Help?
I'll help you understand when to enroll and the decisions you'll need to make.
I'll help you understand the transition to Medicare and the options available to you.
Your healthcare needs and available plans can change. I can help you review your current coverage and explore your options.
That's perfectly fine. I'll explain things in plain language and help you understand your choices.
